Searching the online tech support site
To search the site, you can use the following strategies
1) Searching by Keyword
- Separate multiple words by AND, OR, AND NOT, for example, sequencing AND SNP
- Enclose phrases in double quotes ("), for example, "domain search"
- Use wildcard characters, for example, search* (finds searches, searching). For better hit rate, input at least two characters/digits before the wildcard sign. E g hi* and SOURCE 15*.
2) Searching by Product Code
- When performing a search using product codes,
if the product codes contains the character µ please replace it by typing "micro".
- When typing the product code, you can omit the keyboard symbols"-" and"/"
The search results will be returned by order of relevance, with the most relevant documents at the top of the list.
A document's relevance is based upon the frequency of the word you entered in the search box.
The more often the word appears in the document, the higher that document's relevance rating.
