| Typhoon MultiSlide Tray |
The Typhoon™ Multislide Tray is an accessory for scanning multiple slides on the Typhoon Variable Mode Imager
instruments 8610, 9210 and 9410 for an application such as microarray analysis (DNA or protein). It provides the capability to scan up to 30 slides at one time.
The instrument scan control software provides a simple user interface for setting up the scan parameters for the slides as well as the flexibility to allow a user to scan one slide, single or multiple columns, or the entire tray of 30 slides at one time. The software creates individual files for the slides and recognizes barcode information. The user has the option to add this barcode information to the file name if desired.

| Phosphor imaging screens and cassettes |
Storage Phosphor Screens retain energy from beta particles, X-rays, and gamma rays, and require exposure times that are 50–90% shorter than that of conventional film. Upon laser-induced stimulation, light is emitted from the storage phosphor screen in proportion to the amount of radioactivity in the sample.
The resulting digital image allows for quantitation of subtle signal intensity differences over the wide dynamic range of the system and for production of publication-quality images. Latent images are erased with the ImageEraser. Screens are reusable and are not degraded by repeated exposure to laboratory levels of radioactivity.
