Upgrade to Microarray capability
Hardware and Software upgrade for the Typhoon to increase instrument and application functionality:
- 10 micron pixel scanning and slide holder –for scanning microarray slides
- 25 micron pixel scanning – higher resolution macroarray scanning
- Fast 500 and 1000 micron pixel scanning to pre-scan your sample for placement and PMT setting verification
- Dual excitation with red & green fluorescence for higher throughput in processing dual color fluorescence samples
- High resolution storage phosphor scans for clearer image of samples exposed to radioisotopes
- High sensitivity storage phosphor for better limit of detection

Hardware and Software upgrade for the Typhoon to increase instrument and application functionality:

- Triple excitation with red & green and blue fluorescence for higher throughput in processing three color fluorescence samples
- High resolution storage phosphor scans for clearer image of samples exposed to radioisotopes
- High sensitivity storage phosphor for better limit of detection
The local Amersham Biosciences Labcrew service team will install the upgrade components. The Typhoon will then be covered for service support for one year, including priority response, labour, travel and all spare parts, plus a planned preventive maintenance visit.
