New GST MultiTrap™ FF and GST MultiTrap 4B are prepacked, 96-well filter plates for reproducible, high-throughput screening, and parallel purification of glutathione S-transferase (GST) tagged proteins.

GST MultiTrap plates allow purification of up to 0.5 mg of GST-tagged target protein/well. Purification can be performed directly from unclarified lysate, which shortens sample handling time and minimizes degradation of sensitive target proteins. The well volume is 800 µl and GST MultiTrap is prepacked with 50-µl medium/well. Centrifugation or vacuum are employed for purification, either using automated robotic systems or by manual operation.
GST MultiTrap FF and GST MultiTrap 4B contain Glutathione Sepharose™ 4 Fast Flow and Glutathione Sepharose 4B, respectively. These media are compatible with detergents and reducing agents commonly used in the purification of GST-tagged proteins.
