MatriPlate™ from GE Healthcare

Flat glass bottom 96-well and 384-well MatriPlates

Features:

  • 96- and 384-well MatriPlates offer working volumes, of 630 µl and 120 µl respectively. Both series include a flat bottom with rounded square microwells to eliminate liquid wicking
  • Glass bottom surface thickness options for both 96-and 384-well MatriPlates are : 0.17 and 0.72 mm
  • Black polystyrene upper microplate structure
  • Supplied in cases of 50, lidded, sterile and shrink wrapped
  • GE branded, and validated on the IN Cell Analyzer platform
  • Unmatched flatness tolerances including :
    • Individual window flatness better than 2 microns over a 0.75 mm square field of view·
    • Frame flatness better than 150 microns from row A to row P and column 1 to 24 (for 384-well MatriPlate™)
    • Frame flatness better than 150 microns from row A to row H and column 1 to 12 (for 96-well MatriPlate™)
  • Ideal for cell-based assays using scanning and confocal imagers

The patented MatriPlate™microwell design optimizes liquid handling and robotics integration to provide unmatched results for fluorescence, luminescence and chemiluminescence based high throughput assays. The manufacturing and quality programs tightly control the production and validation of the microplates to ensure the highest level of error-free performance with all automated assay instrumentation.

All MatriPlate™ microwell plate dimensions strictly adhere to ANSI and the Society of Biomolecular Screening (SBS) standards and offer superior surface and well bottom flatness.

A specification sheet is included in every case of microplates, that describes the ANSI/SBS specifications and shows the exact footprint dimensions and microwell position. To set up a device to use these microplates, just program the numbers provided and you can be guaranteed to hit the center of each microwell. This specification sheet is key for equipment setup.
