IN Cell Analyzer 3000 System


The IN Cell Analyzer 3000 is an automated confocal cell imager that delivers the ultimate speed and sensitivity in live-cell based research through its combination of confocality, full environmental control, and on-line image analysis.


Validated for continuous operation, IN CellAnalyzer 3000 is the platform of choice for laboratories performing high-throughput assays requiring rapid, on-line, high-content subcellular analysis such as in primary drug screening. Leading academic research groups that require confocal image quality and on-line automated analysis favor the IN Cell Analyzer 3000.This line-scanning confocal imager comprises two laser light sources (three excitation lines), three highly sensitive cooled 12-bit CCD cameras, programmable environmental control, a large field of view, and continuous laser based auto
focus.
A wide choice of image analysis software packages is available, enabling the instrument to acquire well-average and cell-specific data from live-cell and fixed-cell applications.

Automation-friendly, IN Cell Analyzer 3000 interfaces cleanly with other automation systems and has a choice of plate entry / exit points for manual or automated plate loading.

Confocal imaging

  • Line-scanning confocality maximizes speed and sensitivity with high image resolution.
  • Powerful lasers ensure broad assay dynamic range—even the most sensitive of applications can be detected and analyzed.
  • Capture data from extremely high numbers of cells per field of view—enabled by the combination of line-scanning technology and a Nikon™ 40× extra-long working distance objective.
  • Two lasers, three excitation lines, and three cameras enable simultaneous multiwavelength image acquisition.
  • Best possible image quality is guaranteed, through a combination of very high resolution and confocality for minimal background fluorescence.

    On-line analysis of image data

  • Extremely low-background confocal images allow the application of rapid analysis approaches.
  • Full-size, full-resolution images from all wells of a 96-well plate can typically be acquired and fully analyzed on-line in less than 6 minutes.
  • Selected to further reduce plate processing times to as little as 3 minutes per 96-well plate, and 10 minutes per 384-well plate.
  • Versatile proprietary image analysis software, utilizing high-speed imaging algorithms, offer control over image analysis parameters including methods for background thresholding, object and feature identification, size and intensity filtering, and positive response thresholding.

    Full environmental control

  • Temperature, humidity, and CO2 can all be defined precisely, resulting in a high level of control over environmental conditions.
