ÄKTApilot external valve blocks - extend capacity and fractionation
ÄKTApilot™ can be modified by adding up to six additional external valve blocks (EVB) on a rack that fits neatly on the side of the instrument. A setup of four additional outlet valve blocks (EVB988) gives 16 outlet valves, which allow collection of 22 peak fractions that can be selected in the wizard.
Two inlet valve blocks (EVB981) gives eight additional inlet valves to allow maximum use of system pumps to a capacity of 800 ml/min. In addition, increased inlet capacity also allows twice as many buffers or CIP solutions to be used.
