More about the LEADseeker Imaging Systems

LEADseeker Imaging System is a CCD-based optical imaging instrument that efficiently detects and quantitates light from a range of radiometric, luminescence, and fluorescence assays. The instrument is supplied as two interconnected units that can be conveniently placed within your laboratory.

Features
  • Multimodality instrument Sensitively detect
multiple detection modalities: scintillation proximity assays, luminescence, fluorescence intensity and FRET, fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, and time-resolved FRET.
  • Radiometric instrument: Sensitively detects radioactive proximity and luminescence screening assay formats.
Benefits
  • Sensitive and precise: Trust your data. Offers similar sensitivity to plate readers with increased precision (inter and intra plate).
  • Fast: Screen more compounds >1.4 million compounds/day due to format-free imaging, rapid plate cycling, fast data acquisition time, and data read-out.
  • Miniaturization: Screening can be carried out in all plate formats, including 1536- well, giving large savings in reagent usage.
  • Ease of use: The instruments are almost exclusively controlled from the flexible and intuitive AssayVison™ software interface, which also contains proven and accurate quantitation algorithms for ease of data analysis and remote protocol calling. Open architecture offers choice of automation solution. Convenient and error-free filter changing.
  • Matched reagents: Proprietary redshifted SPA Imaging Beads are available for radiometric assays and CyDye fluors for fluorescence assays. Reagents for time-resolved fluorescence are also available.
  • Service, training and support: Comprehensive training and support plus a range of instrument service contract options are available.
LEADseeker Imaging Systems incorporate both your feedback and our extensive experience in imaging and HTS. State of the art hardware and easy to use software ensure the sensitivity and throughput required for current and future screening needs, resulting in a system that can ultimately save you time and effort in your research.

The instruments use a sophisticated telecentric lens and cooled digital camera with a highly sensitive charge coupled device (CCD) detector to capture high quality digital images of the assay signals within the microplate. Because the instrument stores an image of the whole microplate rather than reading wells sequentially, imaging times are the same for any microplate irrespective of plate density. Consequently, greater throughput can be achieved by using higher format microplates such as 384- and 1536-well plates.
