Butyl-S Sepharose™ 6 Fast Flow is the least hydrophobic medium in the GE Healthcare HIC-family with a minimal lot-to-lot variation. It is designed for purification of relatively strong hydrophobic molecules at comparatively low salt concentration and is used successfully for large-scale purification of recombinant Hepatitis B virus surface antigen.
