Expression analysis compares protein profiles between normal and altered tissue.




When making these comparisons, the highest reproducibility is essential to enable accurate quantification.

The quality of results must be maintained as demands increase for higher sample throughput and the ability to study a broad spectra of proteins.

Based on over 50 years of experience Amersham Biosciences, is already able to select a combination of products that fulfill many of the essential requirements for successful expression analysis. Beginning with 2-D electrophoresis, techniques are available to visualize, scan and evaluate results.

To accelerate the Proteomics cycle, we are now working on intensive programs to develop new systems for expression analysis. Using robotic solutions and advanced control processes our goal is to provide a fully automated workstation for expression analysis from sample preparation to final mass spectrometric analysis.
